CoNote

HubSpot integration

Record contact, deal, and company changes from HubSpot as notes, so a shift in your numbers lines up with the CRM activity behind it.

This integration logs the HubSpot changes you subscribe to, contact, deal, and company changes, on your CoNote timeline, so CRM activity sits beside the rest of your company's events.

What lands on your timeline

A note for each event you subscribe to, for example a deal created, a contact's lifecycle stage changed, or a company property updated. You choose which events in HubSpot.

How it works

HubSpot sends these changes to CoNote automatically over a private link CoNote gives you. Each request is verified with your app's client secret, a private key only you and HubSpot share, so only genuine HubSpot events are logged.

Setting it up

  1. Add the integration

In Integrations, choose HubSpot. Copy the private link (the webhook URL) shown after you connect.

  2. Configure your HubSpot app

In your HubSpot developer app, open Webhooks (the section where tools send updates from), set the Target URL to the CoNote link, and subscribe to the events you want.

  3. Paste the client secret

Copy the app's Client secret (the private key only you and HubSpot share) into this integration's settings, then install the app on your HubSpot account.

HubSpot's updates come from a developer app, not your portal settings. You'll create one (free) and install it on your account.
