CoNote

Shopify integration

Record product and price changes in your Shopify store as Configuration notes, so a sales shift lines up with the change behind it.

A price tweak or a product change quietly moves your conversion and revenue numbers. This integration logs product and price changes in your Shopify store as Configuration notes.

What lands on your timeline

A note when a product is created or updated (price changes are part of a product update).

How it works

Shopify sends each product change to CoNote automatically over a private link CoNote gives you. Every request is verified, so only genuine Shopify events are logged.

Setting it up

  1. Add the integration

In Integrations, choose Shopify. Copy the private link (the webhook URL) shown after you connect.

  2. Create the webhook in Shopify

In Shopify, go to Settings → Notifications → Webhooks → Create webhook (the Webhooks section, where tools send updates from). Choose Product creation and Product update, format JSON, and paste the CoNote link.

  3. Paste the signing secret

The page shows a signing secret: a private key only you and Shopify share, so Shopify can prove the message is real. Copy it and paste it into this integration's settings.
